All Accounted For and Accounting For Schools are Wellington based business advisory practices, providing services to Small/Medium businesses and Schools/Early Childcare Centres within the Education industry.
While All Accounted For and Accounting For Schools are separate businesses, this role will report to the owner/director that sits across both. Located within the same premises on Willis St, Te Aro, Wellington CBD, these client focused, family friendly organisations, have been operating since 2005.
With a strong focus on client service, we require a Xero & Systems Specialist to manage the planning, implementation and provide training around Xero and other related cloud systems (ApprovalMax, Hubdoc, etc).
Key aspects of the role include preparing implementation proposals, meeting clients to discuss options, preparing implementation timetables, managing and undertake implementations, and provide training. The role also involves assisting clients with data management activities, such as invoice management and managing payroll solutions. Some travel will also be involved.
The role will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to undertake client management and become involved with workflow management responsibilities.

We use modern online systems, specifically Xero, to deliver businesses and schools increased transparency, understanding, and control of their finances. This allows business owners and Principals to make informed and timely decisions when weighing up spending decisions. We believe all businesses and schools should be able to plan for the future with clarity while using time-saving processes that we have developed.
The successful candidate must have the ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently under pressure. Ideally, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience and an excellent understanding of Xero;
- A tertiary qualification in accounting, or working towards a tertiary accounting or IT qualification;
- A solid understanding of accounting concepts (general ledger, trial balance, journals, financial statement preparation, etc);
- Excellent computing skills and experience;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent spreadsheeting skills (MS Excel in particular);
- Sound organisational skills are required together with the ability to prioritise, plan and delegate effectively; and
- Must be flexible and willing to take on additional duties if required, to ensure the objectives of the organisation are met.
