The Canstar New Zealand team are currently seeking a Digital & Marketing Coordinator to join our team.
 
The Digital & Marketing Coordinator will help to deliver a high impact, effective online presence of Canstar NZ. This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple digital and marketing touch points including: the Canstar website, mobile, search, social and email.

What You Will Be Doing:
 
Content Management & Search Engine Optimisation
  • Upload content across all digital properties ensuring content is accurate and optimised 
  • Publish and update Canstar research ratings and create related digital design assets
  • Opportunity to create and publish content in keeping with Canstar’s editorial focus
Campaign Management and Project Support
  • Assist the team with management of digital activity – e.g. content amplification, social media, EDM, PPC, infographics and similar tools
  • Monitor website performance and competitor trends (Google analytics), and prepare adhoc reports as required
Social Media
  • Identify social media opportunities and execute strategies that deliver on the digital objectives of the business
  • Collaborate in developing the Canstar NZ social media strategy
  • Regularly report on social media performance and develop strategies based on learnings  
  • Execute targeted follower building strategies to grow audience 
What You Need To Bring To The Role:
  • Formal degree in communications, digital marketing or a related discipline
  • 1+ years’ experience in a digitally focused communication or content position
  • Digital design skills essential  
  • Experience in using and optimizing content to drive commercial outcomes
  • Strong personal skills and ability to build trust with the team
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with wide range of internal and external stakeholders
What Will Give You The Extra Edge: 
  • Interest in or knowledge of finance
  • Experience using a wide range of digital marketing tools (eg. Google Analytics etc.)
