The successful candidate will be hands-on and knowledgeable with prior experience who has a passion for both his own work and developing his team.
-5 years? experience in the fire industry.
-Previous experience and a strong background in installation of analogue addressable or conventional systems.
-Qualified in Fire Detection and/or Prevention and Alarm Systems (NCEA Level 4 preferred).
-An understanding of NZS4512 and knowledge of Notifier, Ampac and Pertronic fire alarm panels preferred.
-Previous experience in managing teams and sites.
-A sound understanding of NZ Health and Safety standards and work-safe requirements.
-Self-motivated, excellent time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
-Desire to learn and a positive attitude.
-Full Driver's license.
-Project management experience.
-Programming and configuration of varying fire panels.
-Competent in training necessary skills within the fire technician trade.
-Build and implement fire systems and necessary reports to comply with NZ standard 4512.
