A key role has arisen at a state of the art processing facility in South Auckland and we are looking to recruit an individual to lead our team of hygiene operators on that site.

This salaried role reports to the Operations Manager and the ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following :

  • Minimum 18 months leadership experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments or food manufacturing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to develop and sustain excellent working relationships at all levels.
  • A professional persona and attitude .
  • Demonstrate ability to lead , train and develop large multi cultural teams.
  • Knowledge of NZ Health & Safety requirements would be highly regarded .
  • Certification in chemical handling, first aid or other workplace requirements will be highly regarded but not essential.
  • Demonstrate a flexible ' can do ' attitude and attention to detail.
  • Confident and with a strong customer service ethic.
  • Experience in developing rosters and recruitment etc.
  • Experience with internal and external audits highly regarded.

Night shift will be involved. A competitive salary will be negotiated with the right applicant incl. performance bonus structure after qualifying period.
